According to the latest report by the World Steel Association (WSA), Iran has climbed to the 9th position among the world's top steel producers, surpassing Brazil. This achievement highlights Iran's growing steel industry and its increasing global competitiveness. The WSA report, which analyzes steel production data from countries worldwide, revealed that Iran produced over 28 million tons of crude steel in the past year, a significant increase from previous years. This impressive output allowed Iran to leapfrog Brazil, which had previously held the 9th spot.
