TEHRAN – Iran's deputy industry, mining and trade minister for commercial affairs, Alireza Peyman-Pak, announced that a comprehensive package of support measures for industries affected by the Israeli-imposed war has been prepared and sent to the cabinet for approval. If approved, the details of this package will be announced to production and industrial units across the country. The prolonged conflict with Israel has taken a significant toll on various sectors of Iran's economy, including manufacturing and industrial production. Many factories and production facilities have been damaged or forced to halt operations due to the ongoing hostilities and disruptions caused by the war. In response to the challenges faced by these industries, the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade has developed a comprehensive support package aimed at providing financial assistance, facilitating access to raw materials, and implementing measures to revive and protect affected businesses. The proposed package includes a range of initiatives, such as subsidies, tax incentives, low-interest loans, and streamlined import procedures for essential raw materials and equipment. Additionally, the ministry plans to establish specialized task forces to assess the specific needs of different industries and tailor support measures accordingly.
